Users who have the "Create, Edit and Archive Job Posting" or "Publish Job Posting" permission in a recruitment project can add colleagues to the recruitment/work group.
This is done via: Edit Mode on the Job Posting → Recruitment/Work Group → Add User to Recruitment/Work Group
New as of October 7, 2026
The functionality for managing users, roles, permissions, and notifications has been consolidated into a single view.
The functionality remains the same as before.
No permission rules or access levels have been changed.
Previously, permissions were assigned through a separate button, while users were added to the recruitment/work group through a different function.
Each company can add its own help texts for the different functions. These are displayed in italics under the relevant heading in the form.
How to add a user to the recruitment/work group
1. Open the recruitment project and enter edit mode.
2. Scroll down to the Recruitment/Work Group section.
3. Click Add User to Recruitment/Work Group.
4. Configure the desired settings:
User – Select the colleague to add to the recruitment/work group.
Project Group (if volume recruitment is used) – Add the user to one or more project groups.
Roles – Assign one or more roles. The permissions granted by a role are determined by the company's configuration.
Permission – Assign a specific permission directly on the recruitment project. The permission can be time-limited.
Notifications – Select which notifications the user should receive related to the recruitment project.
5. Save.
Important to know
Direct permissions override role-based permissions If a user has both a role with associated permissions and a permission assigned directly on a recruitment project, the directly assigned permission will always take precedence for that specific recruitment project.
Example: A user has a role that grants the Publish Job Posting permission. If that user is also assigned the Communicate with Candidates permission directly on the recruitment project, the directly assigned permission will apply. The user will therefore have the Communicate with Candidates permission on that recruitment project, as directly assigned permissions always take precedence over permissions inherited from a role.
